Materials
1/3 yard lightweight cotton fabric
1 package single fold narrow bias tape (or make your own)
9″ velcro (cut 1″ velcro in half so it is 1/2″ wide)
2 1/4″ buttons
Sewing Essentials (scissors, pins, etc.)

Sew
Seam allowance is 1/4″ unless otherwise stated
1.
With WRONG sides together, fold front piece so that notches meet at the front neckline. Sew, using pattern marking as your guide.
2.
Press the box pleat open. Sew on buttons.
3.
Sew right and left shoulder seams, right sides together.
4.
Finish of neckline and armscyes with narrow bias tape.
5.
Sew side seams with right sides together.
6.
Finish bottom edge. Fold up 1/4″ and press. Topstitch hem in place.
7.
Finish raw edges of center back. Fold over 1/2″ to the wrong side.
